Russian Travel Blogger Amongst The Victims Of The Nepal Plane Crash Tragedy.

 First Nepal plane crash victim is named as Russian travel blogger, 33: Passenger posted selfie from her seat with message 'Go to Nepal' before Yeti Airline aircraft came down on route from Kathmandu to tourist town.




Her social media was today full of messages of condolences, and she was described as 'the brightest, kindest soul we knew'.


The tragic blogger worked as a social media manager and travelled widely. Three other Russians died on the flight, named as Viktoria Altunina, Yuri Lugin and Viktor Lagin.





Earlier the Russian ambassador to Nepal, Alexei Novikov, confirmed the death of four compatriots aboard the crashed plane.

'Unfortunately, four citizens of the Russian Federation died,' he said.

'We are in constant contact with the Nepalese authorities and will provide all necessary assistance to the relatives of the dead Russians.'

A total of 15 foreigners were among the 72 on board the stricken plane.


Police have confirmed at least 68 people were killed today when a domestic flight crashed into a gorge while landing at a newly opened airport in the central resort town of Pokhara.

 At least 40 people have been confirmed dead after a domestic flight crashed in Pokhara in Nepal on Sunday, January 15, 2023.   Hundreds of rescue workers were scouring the hillside where the plane carrying 72 people from the capital Kathmandu, went down. Yeti Airlines, which operated the flight, said there were 72 people onboard – 68 passengers and four crew. According to an airport official, the foreign nationals on board included: one Australian, one French, one Argentinian, four Russians, five Indians, two South Koreans and one person from Ireland. In the video which is quite unusual, a young man alleged to be the father of an infant was seen giving the baby some smokes widely speculated to be a mar!juana.  Aside the bizarre attitude, a female voice suspected to be the child's mother was heard laughing and giggling at the background.  Their action has caused an uproar on various social media outlets. So many commenters voiced their disappointment and anger towards this particular dangerous parental skills. Although it's not clear where this video took place, the child's safety is of so much concern to everyone that has come across this video.

Legend, 44, shared the news while performing at a private concert on Friday night, telling the crowd that he and his wife just welcomed a new baby.  'What a blessed day,' the singer said, adding that although he 'didn't get a lot of sleep' he felt energized after being by spending 'a lot of time' by Chrissy's side at the hospital.
