Couple Nabbed For Inhumane Treatment Of Two Kids.

The police in Lagos state have arrested a woman who is the biological mother of two young kids aged 5 and 2, alleged to have been abused by her and her partner. She was arrested alongside her partner.


 



The suspects identified as Busola Oyediran and her partner, Akebiara Emmanuel, were arrested on Friday, January 13, by the police following reports by neighbours.


 



Concerned neighbours had alerted the police of the consant physical torture of the minors by their biological mother and her partner. Following the report, the police stormed the Egbeda/Idimu Lagos State, home of the couple and arrested both. The police proceeded to the hospital where the neighbours had taken the battered children for medical care.


 



When confronted, their mother Busola claimed the children had a motorcycle accident insisting they fell from a motorbike and suffered serious injuries.








The spokesperson of the state police command, SP Benjamin, said the couple is currently in detention and will be arraigned in court by Monday, January I6. He said the father of the children has been informed.

In the video which is quite unusual, a young man alleged to be the father of an infant was seen giving the baby some smokes widely speculated to be a mar!juana.  Aside the bizarre attitude, a female voice suspected to be the child's mother was heard laughing and giggling at the background.  Their action has caused an uproar on various social media outlets. So many commenters voiced their disappointment and anger towards this particular dangerous parental skills. Although it's not clear where this video took place, the child's safety is of so much concern to everyone that has come across this video.
